U.S Midterm Election

Democrats defeat with a decrease in 60 seats of congress was a surprising outcome to 2010 United States House of representative midterm election which was held on November. Election was held for all 435 seats, representing the 50 states of the US. It seems that voters sent a clear message to congress that they are not content with the present conditions of the country. Today many people are out of work, foreclosures are speeding, and economy is growing very slowly, and people expect the government to focus on the economy and jobs.
With these conditions, it is not a surprise that the Republicans won the House. During the past two years, Republicans held different meetings. They listened to people's anger and frustration. They understood that people wanted Washington to move the country in a different way to grow the economy. In addition, Republicans spent a lot on advertisements, and no one can ignore the great effect of advertisements on the outcome.
This outcome can be regarded as a sign to Democrat's defeat in 2012 presidential election or at least their tough situation to get enough votes to win.
